Barbie releases today and it is expected to be huge! I’ve received countless newsletters with curated Barbie collections (think pink) and limited-edition collaborations. This Gap collaboration, which is almost entirely sold out, even includes Barbie sweaters for Barbie dolls. While I am not overly excited about Barbie coming to the big screen (I’ll wait until it hits Netflix), I am excited about two things: (1) The real-life Barbie Dream House in Malibu was designed by a black woman (Nigerian American Victoria Adesanmi) and (2) The chance to bring you my very own Barbie Edit. Who doesn’t love pink?!
